21 Savage Said Jail Didn’t Prepare Him for Immigration Detainment

In a recent interview, 21 Savage talked about the difference between going to jail and being detained by immigration.

He recalled that when you go to jail they tell you what you are being charged with.

When you are detained by immigration you are being held and that’s it, no explanation.

21 Savage entered the country in 2005 under a non-immigrant visa but didn’t leave when it expired July 2006.

Then he was in violation of federal immigration law when he was convicted of felony drug charges in 2014.
