Over the weekend there was a royal meeting at the London premiere of The Lion King as Duchess Meghan Markle and Queen Beyonce came face to face.

The two, who were accompanied by their husbands, were all smiles when they met on the red carpet at Leicester Square Gardens and even shared a hug.

This was the first time that the power couples have been pictured together and is also believed to be the first time that they’ve met.
