The protests sweeping across the country aren’t just happening in the U.S. including Palm Beach County- but around the world as well.
Protesters chanting “Black Lives Matter!” gathered outside the U.S. embassies in both Berlin and Copenhagen over the weekend.
UK protesters marched through the streets of London, Manchester, Dublin, and Cardiff. A small protest of about 50 people gathered in Rome.
In Canada, protesters are calling for justice not only for George Floyd, but for Regis Korchinski-Parquet, a Toronto woman whose mother claims was pushed off an apartment balcony by police.
Why did this particular incident set off such a wide range of protests around the world? Is it something about the George Floyd case specifically, or was something this big going to happen eventually no matter what?
