TikTok star Charli D’Amelio is breaking into the music industry with her very first single, “If you ask me to,” which was released during the Season 2 finale of her docu-series ‘The D’Amelio Show.’

The song revolves around teenage heartbreak, along with the pros and cons of being in ‘young love.’

“I wanted to use this as a time in my life where I don’t have to talk about true experiences — so much of my life is so out there,” D’Amelio described to Billboard. “I fell in love with the process throughout, which is why putting this song out is so important to me.”
