Chelsea Handler’s, Chuy Bravo Died at Age 63

Chuy Bravo, who you may remember as Chelsea Handler’s sidekick, has died at the age of 63.  Bravo moved from Mexico to the United States at the age of 15. He wandered onto the set of “Three Amigos,” which was the start of his acting career.  Before hitting the “Chelsea Lately” show on E! Bravo starred in movies such as Austin Powers: Goldmember, “The Rundown,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End,” “The Honeymooners.” He was Chelsea’s sidekick from 2007 to 2014 starring in over 1,000 episodes of the talk show.  Bravo survived prostate cancer and was born with dwarfism, standing only 4 feet-3 inches.

Handler wrote a touching post on Instagram in memory of her “favorite nugget,” she wrote, “I loved this nugget in a big way, and I took great pleasure in how many people loved him as much as I did and do. @chuybravo gave us so much laughter and I’ll never forget the sound of his laughter coming from his office into mine.”
