Demi Lovato’s latest song, titled ’29’ has people speculating it’s calling out their past relationship with Wilmer Valderrama; one that was seen as controversial due to their 12-year age gap.

Lovato & Valderrama dated on-and-off from 2010 – 2016. If you listen to the lyrics (also below), Lovato seemingly reflects on the relationship, but has not confirmed this to be true.

“Petal on the vine / Too young to drink wine / Just five years a bleeder / Student and a teacher,” Lovato sings in the track’s first verse. “Far from innocent / What the f—‘s consent? / Numbers told you not to / But that didn’t stop you.”
