A lot of you know DJ Khaled as a DJ, host, and producer, but know that Khaled is also a successful restauranteur with his “The Lickin” restaurant franchise that started in Miami and now opening in Chicago.

The soul-food restaurant started in Miami to help under-served African-American communities, has been around for four years and the expansion into Chicago seems to be an early success.

When his restaurant opened on Chicago’s West Side over the weekend, the wait to enjoy the food that Monday was 45 minutes.
