Eiffel Tower Reopens – But You Have To Take The Stairs

After a 104-day closure, the Eiffel Tower has finally reopened to the public – but you’ll have to take the stairs.

The 1,063-foot Paris monument reopened last week, but the elevator is still closed for at least another week.
It takes 1,665 steps to reach the top of the tower, but currently visitors are restricted to just the second level – a mere 674-step climb.
7 million people visit the Eiffel Tower each year and the lockdown cost an estimated $30 million in tourism dollars.
Think you could make it to the top of the Eiffel Tower on foot?  What world wonders would you most like to see in person?
