PODCAST: Shock Collar Question of the Day (07/15/21)

Brooke is wearing the Shock Collar this morning!

Today’s question: Back in the 1920’s, when soccer games were broadcast on the radio, announcers were concerned that fans wouldn’t be able to visualize the field, so they created a code for radio listeners to better identify the different locations without seeing it. Instead of an announcer saying… “he’s fallen near the goal”… or “he just took a header near the penalty area”…. this new code helped break up the field…. and was even more precise.  And Even though, they don’t use this technique anymore… a common cliche phrase spawned from it…. What is it?
