Today is a National Holiday honoring a very famous toy you’ve all played with before. The British called it a “bandalore.” The French used the name “incroyable” or “L-emigrette.” But the craze got popular in North America back in 1928, when an American business man spotted one while on a trip to San Francisco. He quickly made 100,000 of them to sell, but the problem was people didn’t really know how to use it correctly. So, he hired a team of workers who went around teaching the public how to use the toy, and now it’s globally popular to this day. What toy am I talking about?
