Families with kids ages 5-18. Bring your imagination to make an upcycled craft and help a good cause!
Stop by KidSpace throughout the day on Earth Day to watch “The Lorax” and create an upcycled pop tab
container using recycled materials. Bring your container home and help support the Ronald McDonald
House of South Florida by collecting the tabs you pull to open soda, soup, or other aluminum cans.
Collect the tabs in your container, then bring them to the library and place them in the collection box in
KidSpace. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida will recycle the aluminum and use the
money collected to support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and

Celebrate Earth Day and help support a good cause! Decorate an upcycled container with various
reclaimed materials and start collecting pop tabs for a cause. Bring your container home and help
support the Ronald McDonald House of South Florida by collecting the tabs you pull to open soda, soup,
or other aluminum cans. Collect the tabs in your container, then bring them to the library and place
them in the collection box at the fourth-floor reference desk. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of
South Florida will recycle the aluminum and use the money collected to support programs that directly
improve the health and well-being of children and their families. Registration is required and begins one
