So…Netflix’s HIGHLY anticipated show, ‘Wednesday’, came out last (you guessed it) Wednesday, and I can proudly say I binged this in a span of 24 hours, mainly because of my love for all things Tim Burton.
Wednesday is going viral on every platform, and of course, those cringy edits of the show’s bachelors, Tyler and Xavier, are blowing up on everyone’s FYP.
I will say, Jenna Ortega (who played Wednesday) blew this out of the park. She’s taking over the horror genre and proves to be one of the best scream queens of our generation.

But the ONE THING that I could not STAND FOR THE LIFE OF ME, is that werewolf called the ‘Hyde.’ Straight nightmares. Every time.

My favorite character though had to be ‘Thing’, the hand that no one knows where it came from. Thing slayed every bit of screen time, and I completely cracked up during that one part were it SWAM IN WATER.
absolutely obsessed that this is how they filmed thing in wednesday on netflix pic.twitter.com/MFjdF5FK9J

I think the casting for Gomez (Luis Guzmán) and Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) could have been a bit better. Lots of bingers were even talking about Cristina Ricci (the OG 90’s Wednesday) to play Morticia, and I would have LOVED to see that.
Overall, ‘Wednesday’ is a creepy, whimsical, sleek and gothic twist on the iconic Addams family character we know and love.
Definitely give this a watch if you haven’t already. You won’t regret it!
