While it was apparent that many musicians felt the strangeness of performing at home, alone for the ACM event, ACM Presents: Our Country on Sunday night, it was even more apparent that we’re all battling the Coronavirus together.  Country music’s biggest stars connected by video to perform songs meant to heal, Kane Brown and John Legend performed their duet, “Last Time I Say Sorry,” while Keith Urban, who said he missed being around people sang, “Wasted Time,” a song that he said “took on new meaning” since being self-quarantined.  Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani sang “Nobody But You,” from their Oklahoma home and Carrie Underwood did what most of us are at this time, she appeared with a glass of wine and sang her hit, “Drinking Alone.” Other performances included Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain, the 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards will be hosted by Keith Urban on September 16th.
