Kim Kardashian honored with Inaugural Innovation Award for her brand SKIMS

Kim Kardashian was honored with the first-ever Inaugural Innovation Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for her shape-wear brand SKIMS!

The SKIMS co-founder used the opportunity to encourage designers to be more diverse and inclusive when fabricating clothes for all body shapes.

“We have put a strong emphasis since our launch on continuing to shape the industry to embrace size equality and diversity as a fixture and not just a trend, and I see so many of you are doing just that,” Kim said.

Joined by Kim to receive the award were SKIMS CEO and co-founder Jens Grade and chief product officer Emma Grede.

Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner also accompanied Kim on CFDA’s big night.
