Man Charged Over Mac Miller’s Death ‘Scared He’ll Die In Prison’

The man who provided Mac Miller with drugs has been charged with the rapper’s death according to court documents filed with a Los Angeles Federal Court.

Cameron James Pettit, 28, says he’s “scared he’ll die in prison.” Pettit is said to have given Miller counterfeit oxycodone pills the contained fentanyl, which Miller took in conjunction with consuming alcohol and cocaine.

The court documents reveal that Pettit delivered the drugs to Miller two days before his death on September 5th and text messages obtained by law enforcement detail Pettit’s fear following the death of Miller as well as the intent to deliver the drugs prior to Miller’s death.

Pettit is facing 20 years in federal prison for drug trafficking. Mac Miller died on September 7th.
