The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has ruled that the death of Minneapolis’ George Floyd was a homicide.  In the examiner’s updated findings, Floyd “experienced a cardiopulmonary arrest while being restrained by law enforcement officers”. The medical examiner listed under “other significant conditions” that Floyd had hypertension and heart disease, listed fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine use.  This report came hours after Floyd’s family released an autopsy report that stated Floyd “died from asphyxia from sustained pressure on his neck and back”.
