Plain White T’s singer Tom Higgenson gave the surprise of a lifetime to a young cancer patient.
In a video posted by the band, Higgenson showed up to a hospital to perform a special version of the band’s hit “Hey There Deliah” for a young cancer patient named Delilah.
Delilah has been battling cancer for four years and listens to the song that shares her name every day.

“I hear you’re a big fan of our song ‘Hey There Delilah’ so I figured I would play it for you right now,” Higgenson said in the video.
Gasps could be heard from others in the room and Delilah smiled as Higgenson crooned.
The room then erupted in a group sing-along song before Delilah and Higgenson shared a hug.
