Post Malone Replaces Travis Scott in Headlining Slot at Day N Vegas Festival

Post Malone is replacing Travis Scott as the headliner for the Day N Vegas Festival. Following the tragedy at Astroworld on Friday (November 5th) where a crowd surge caused the death of eight people, Scott canceled his upcoming performance.

Organizers for the Day N Vegas festival released a statement about the schedule change and reassured attendees that they were taking all the necessary precautions as well as working with local law enforcement, medical personal, and public safety to make sure the event would be safe for everyone.

Since the Astroworld tragedy, upcoming events in Houston have been canceled including, the Houston Open Concert series, which was supposed to take place at Minute Maid Park, November 11th – 14th.

Tickets for Billy Joel’s concert have been halted. Livenation said in a statement, “Out of respect for the Houston community after the events at Astroworld on Friday, organizers for the upcoming Billy Joel concert scheduled for Minute Maid Park in Houston on Friday, September 23, today announced they are delaying the on sale until further notice.”
