The intruder rang the doorbell and waited, while armed with a gun, for someone to open the door.

Bun’s wife, Queenie, opened the door when the gunman demanded valuables, she was offering up her Audi when Bun came downstairs with his gun.

As the gunman tried to take off in the vehicle, Bun shot him as he fled, leaving his gun behind.

Later the gunman showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, he was treated and arrested on two counts of aggravated robbery with a gun and burglary.
