Rapper Tay-K Tried to Start New Gang in Jail Called Rug-Rats, Prosecutors Allege

Teen rapper, Tay-K is being accused of starting a new gang while in jail facing murder charges called “Rug-Rats.” Prosecutors say that Tay-K assaulted an inmate and sent him to the hospital and drew up the “laws” of the Rug-Rats gang.
The “Laws of Power” outlined rules such as, “no hurting or slaughter of children, unless necessary,” along with the ranks, hand signals, and rules of entry into the gang.
Tay-K, whose real name is Taymor Travon McIntyre, recorded a song called “Rug-Rats” in 2017 the same year of his hit single, “The Race” which also hit the Billboard Hot 100 list and has more than 160 million views on YouTube.
McIntyre is currently in the Tarrant County Jail awaiting trial for the robbery, murder of a man in 2016, the robbery of a man in Arlington, Texas and a deadly robbery in San Antonio in 2017. He received another charge after a cell phone was found in his cell.
