This is the 5th annual Diamond Ball. The event was created by Rihanna to raise money for the Clara Lionel Foundation.
The foundation, named after her grandmother, is an organization to fund education and emergency response programs in the world.
This year’s host is Seth Myers.
It has just been announced that the two recipients of the Diamond Ball Award will be civil rights activist Shaun King and Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley.
Pharrell and DJ Khaled are set to perform at the event.
