Netflix is taking another shot at a live-action version of ‘Death Note,’ with the Duffer brothers.
The Duffer Brothers announced the project in a press release saying they will be launching a production company called “Upside Down studios” where “heart wins out over cynicism.”
No further details her been released.
Netflix tried to launch the adaption in 2017 but received poor reviews on the project.
The anime is based on Japanese graphics novels and follows a high school student who comes across a notebook with the power to kill remotely by writing someone’s name inside it.
