Hollywood action and adventure legend Brendan Fraser, most known for his standout role in the blockbuster hit ‘The Mummy’, had his grand comeback in Darron Aronofsky’s psychological thriller ‘The Whale’.
His return was met with a 6-minute long standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival, to which the actor was instantly moved to tears.

The thunderous applause of the audience suggests we may possibly be hearing more of Brendan, just in time for awards season.
The A24 film is set to premiere December 9.
