In a move that hardly comes as a surprise, the Woodstock 50 festival has officially been cancelled. Organizer Michael Lang, officially pulled the plug on Wednesday, pointing blame to “a series of unforeseen setbacks” that “made it impossible to put on the festival we imagined”. Those setbacks include the show’s original financial backers dropping out earlier this year and a last minute venue change from New York to Maryland. That move then caused headliners like Santana, Dead and Company, and John Fogerty to drop out. Do you usually go to the Woodstock festival?
