The Kemp’s ridley sea turtle has been spotted hatched on a Louisiana beach for the first time in 75 years! This species of sea turtle is the smallest, and most endangered. Activists and environmental workers are now pushing to renew a protection of the Chandeleur barrier Islands of Louisiana, which is also home to many threatened species.
