Zoe Kravitz Addresses Being Rejected From ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Role for Being too ‘Urban’

Zoe Kravitz has revealed that she was rejected from a “Dark Knight Rises” role.
She said she couldn’t get an audition because they “weren’t going Urban.”
She said, “It was like, ‘What does that have to do with anything?'”
She also says she wasn’t sure if it came from director Chris Nolan.
She added, “Being a woman of color and being an actor and being told at that time that I wasn’t able to read because of the color of my skin, and the word ‘urban’ being thrown around like that, that was what was really hard about that moment.”
Would Zoe have been a good fit for “Dark Knight Rises?”
